Enjoy your stay – on the slopes and beyond

Ski rental & Ski Shop

Our ski rental carries over 1000 sets of quality skiing equipment. If one day you wish to try cross country, telemark or snowboarding, we have the equipment for you. Ski Shop features a wide variety of ski accessories and souvenir and gift items such as Himos fleece jackets, T-shirts, turtle necks, etc.

Ski school

Whether you are skiing for the very first time or wish to fine-tune your technique, our Himoset ski instructors have a program for you including lessons also in telemark and snowboarding. Note that they are very good indeed; they took Finnish Championship year 2005 and 2006 in the competition between skiing schools in Finland.

Restaurants

The restaurants and cafés in the slope area enable you to take short breaks or relax for longer. How about a lunch or pizzabuffet or a steaming bowl of soup, perhaps a hamburger meal, or a cup of coffee with a danish? Our restaurants are also fully licensed. For those who want to eat their own provisions, there are campfire sites and lean-tos to truly experience the essence of Finnish winter and outdoor life.

For children, and why not also for the ones with a childlike mind, our toboggan slide in the Peikkorinne area is the place to go. Grab your sleds and find out whose is the slipperiest!

Something happening always on weekends and holidays - for ex. in Suomi Slalom the fastest skier in your group will be determined by age factor. For Easter weekend, bring your costume because the slopes will be full of witches, draculas, vampires, etc.

We wish you a pleasant stay and we want your holiday to be full of fun and activities you can share with your family or friends.
